figo will school you

2012 is off to a great start! To kick off the New Year, I styled a shoot for my favorite salon, Figo. Over two days, we shot 18 models for their new education book, which will detail how to create killer hair cuts, from basic to avant garde. This presented a fun styling challenge for me - I needed to pull together three distinct "collections" for women and two for men. You'll have to wait to see the final shots, but in the meantime, here are some of my favorite pieces from the shoot, pulled from Neiman Marcus:

The gorgeous jacket above is by Elizabeth and James, and I am obsessed with the feather hem. The length was long enough for the model on the shoot to wear it as a dress - so hot!

I love this architectural red sheath by Roland Mouret. So va-va-voom but still fashiony.

This stretch boucle dress by Michael Kors is a winner thanks to sporty scuba-inspired details and an eye catching neon hue.

I love leather. It makes me so happy. This Robert Rodriguez dress, with a leather bodice and chiffon rosette skirt, is no exception. Obsessed.

I have been dreaming of the perfect pair of leather leggings for years, and I have found them (too bad they are way outside my budget). The Row is known for killer leather leggings, and everything about this pair is flawless - the leather is buttery soft but lightweight with a hint of stretch. Perfect, perfect, perfect.

Ah, Givenchy. So amazing. This gorgeous cowl neck blouse keeps its edge thanks to the zipper detail and crinkly fabric.

Last but not least, how perfectly on-trend for spring is this minimalist silk dress by Robert Rodriguez? Colorblocking and orange, two of the coming season's biggest stories, in one perfect little package.
