j.crew f/w 2012

I hope we get more snow next winter, because the fantastic J.Crew fall collection was made for hitting the slopes. Well, ok, it's made for hitting the lodge after hitting the slopes. At J.Crew, it's always about taking classics and mixing and matching them in a stylish, offbeat way. This season that means graphic Fair Isle sweaters paired with a satin pencil skirt or a full pink sequined circle skirt, a print-on-print (a serious trend this season) blouse and maxi skirt in snakeskin worn under a chunky shearling coat, and a geometric intarsia sweater with a sparkly snake print skirt. The fall bags are also swoon worthy, including a sherpa clutch and what look like some exotic reinterpretations of my darling little Edie purse. See the complete collection here.
