On the runway, that translated into sharply tailored capes, micro flare trousers, latticework fur, and dresses with sheer insets, all in pitch black. The middle of the show transitioned from absolute darkness to a brilliant blue engineered print featuring cow skulls on dresses, skirts, and trousers. Then the clouds parted and the collection walked into the light. Gorgeous gowns and cocktail dresses in ivory and gold looked like they had been plucked from heaven and sent to Earth just in time for the Oscars. Seriously, if Zoe Saldana, who was sitting front row, wore the white gown with the sheer sleeves and beaded train on the red carpet, she would look absolutely exquisite.
