tuesday tunes: vintage trouble
Sometimes you go to a concert and you just can't wait for the opening act to finish so you can get on to the main event. This past weekend, when my husband and I went to see Joss Stone with his father (who is probably her biggest fan), that was most definitely not the case.
The opening act was Vintage Trouble, and their performance, in a word, was thrilling. These guys are amazing. Based in Los Angeles and comprised of Ty Taylor (vocal), Nalle Colt (guitar), Richard Danielson (drums) and Rick Barrio Dill (bass), the band plays "live-wired, straight-shootin, dirty-mouth'd, pelvis-pushing juke music." Their sound is irresistible, their stage presence magnetic, and I'm pretty much obsessed. Check them out below and at www.vintagetrouble.com.
